Woo hoo!  I passed day 1!  Finally!  I had some nice reps while doing my pushups.  I wasn’t sure how I was going to do on the final 40.  I took a little bit longer rest, about 1 1/2 minutes to rest, and I guess it paid off!  I also did my last 40 in increments.  Counted 20, then counted 10 more, then the final 10!  I’m pretty stoked.

i’m out of breath.  I was pretty happy with how well I did today.  After the first set of 16 pushups, I wasn’t so sure I was going to do it since I felt out of breath and fatigued….  But when I did the second set of 14, I felt pretty good cuz I cranked those out pretty easily.  All in all, a pretty nice day.  I get to repeat this fun all over again tomorrow!

Pretty happy with how today’s workout went.  I rocked it!  Should be interested day 3 since I didn’t pass it last time, and that 30 seconds inbetween is brutal.  Oh well.  I’m very pleased.

Well, I didn’t pass again, but a much better effort than last week, and I’m sure if I would have done day 2 and 3 correctly, I would have even done better.

I was a little bit dissoriented after my third set.  I wasn’t sure if I had actually done it or not, but I am almost possitive I did the third set of 30 pushups.  Its weird how you get dissoriented doing this thing.  Sometimes I’m doing a great job counting, and all of a sudden, I feel like I miscounted and do some extra’s.

I’m excited for day 2.. Should be really difficult with the 45 second rest inbetween the 8 sets!

Wow.  This was tough.  I didn’t think that the 30 seoncds rest inbetween was going to be that big of a deal, but it made this level really challenging..  So, I guess I will be repeating week five next week… This week is going to be really difficult to pass.

NOTE!!!  Ok, so I just got done looking at the webmasts program from hundredpushups.com.. Turns out I did day 2 and 3 completely wrong!  ARGH!  This might set me back also.   On his site he has levels 1&2 for 18, 3&4 for 16.. and so on.. so what I actually should have attempted was

Good to know!  his will have to change next week.  Although I love how challenging this program is, I also think it’s layout is confusing…  I’ve misunderstood wayyy too many things in this challenge.

I thought this was going to be a breeze since I don’t have to do that initial set of 40.  But it was actually pretty difficult.  The 45 seconds inbetween sets goes by quick and really has an impact in performance.

Ok, so not only was I concerned because this week we are supposed to get less times between reps… but cranking out 40 pushups on the first set????  Are you serious?  And then supposed to crank out 40 on the last?  Wow..

I was really happy with how I did today.  I am glad I got the initial 40 and 32, and was close with my 28.  My pecs were burning pretty bad after that set.

Plan of Action:  I am going to go ahead and finish the other two days for this week, and then repeat week 5.  This one is going to be a beast.

I was worried about today as well.  Last night I wasn’t eating too healthy, and I slept in today.  Just seems like I’m not taking this challenge very seriously outside of the challenge…  Might need to change that.  Good news however is that I passed week 4!

I’m pretty nervous about week 5.  Week 5 is really different, because instead of increasing wait time between each day, you decrease the time.  For instance, on day 2, instead of waiting the 90 seconds that you did on week 1-4, you wait 45 seconds. Oh well, bring it on!  I’m looking forward to the challenge!
